Calling all LGBTQ+ singers in the Calder Valley! ✨🎶
We’re excited to introduce a workshop to explore starting a singing group designed especially for LGBTQ+ people who love to sing. Whether you’re a seasoned chorister or just love mimicking Mariah while in the shower, this group is open to all with an interest in music! 🌈🎶

When?

The first meeting was held on Tuesday 19 November 2024, 7.30pm-9.30pm.

Hebden Bridge Town Hall

What should I bring?

Just your voice and your sass. A pencil is handy for making notes.

What to expect?

The workshop will include some vocal warm-ups for healthy singing, including some Alexander Technique and standard choral tips and tricks, followed by a learning session where we will learn four beautiful choral works, some in the standard choir repertoire and some more contemporary works made famous by ensembles such as Voces8.
