An LGBT+ social group for people aged 18+ in the Upper Calder Valley based in Hebden Bridge.
We welcome members from Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Todmorden and beyond.
We are anti-racist and trans inclusive. We welcome members who identify as trans or non-binary.
We aim to create a safe space and all members should read and comply with our code of conduct.

It is now a tradition that the Out in the Valley (OITV) Theatre Group performs an LGBT+ Pantomime every December at the Little Theatre, Hebden Bridge. We are looking for submissions for a script for this year’s production.
Your script should meet the criteria (see the button below) and be aimed at a broadly adult audience (14+ years). The script will be performed by LGBT+ people with a range of theatre experience from complete beginners to those with a wealth of experience. The final performance will include input from workshops with the cast to develop the final approved script, so you must be open to your script being critiqued and developed. The pantomime should be a recognisable pantomime format, with clever, witty and insightful LGBT+ twist that supports, promotes and highlights LGBT+ people and current issues.
Your script will be evaluated by a sub-group of the OITV Governance Committee, whose decision will be final. We particularly welcome scripts from LGBT+ members of the community.
Please note that this is a local LGBT+ community production, and all members of the Theatre Group (cast, tech, crew etc.) are unpaid. As such, no payment will be made for the script. All profits resulting from the production go towards the running of Out in the Valley groups, including future OITV Theatre Group productions.
